In this task we got a brown paper bag and made it into a mask by drawing a face on them. with my drawing i got insperation from an artist called Saul Stienberg, i then added thick eyebrows and eyes. i decided on a simple drawing and added over time, over all im happy on how it came out, but i hated the lines on the inside which added these line on the bag.

WWW:
in this task i felt that i did well in making the collage, this is one of my first experience making one and i like how the image is inverted and it brings the collage to life. And i like my pictures i've added as i feel like they show who i am.

EBI:
i could have added more images in the blank area as in one place its cluttered and in the other its quite empty, i could have spread out the pictures. And i possibly could have made it more messy.

Photography Essay
In Kenneth Josephson’s photo I can see that hes making the hand in the car the subject as he places a frame around it, there are supposedly 5 people including the shadow. Josephsons picture is a kind of shadow selfie because in the picture you can see the sun is very distinctive and emphasizes the shadows more. The formal element that strikes me as the most important is the hand in the middle frame, I thought that the person in the car was dead as its flopped down like it has no life. I appreciate Josephson's photo because I like the frames he’s used and how he used the sun for shadows.
Whereas Woodman’s photo is confusing as there isn't much story, there are 3 people in the photo including the photographer. Woodman’s picture is a kind of disguised photo as there aren’t any faces shown and there being hidden behind an object. The formal element that strikes to me as the most important is the two people hidden in the doorway. I appreciate Woodmans photo because it has an eerie as feeling to it and a mystery.
In Josephson's picture I counted 11 frames including the car frames and the one he has himself, while in Woodmans photo I counted 6 frames. The framing Woodman used was the door frames because there were many layers to it. The common thing between there frames is that they are all squares.
In Josephsons photo there isn't much surprising or unexpected attributes to the photo, but there is a level of mystery as my first thought on the picture was there was a dead person in the car as the hand looked lifeless. And in Woodmans photo there is a lot of mystery and unexpected attributes in there photo. As the story isn't clear and it can be perceived in any way. It looks kind of demonic and sinister
I enjoy looking at Josephsons photo as it has more going on in the photo and it has more of a story to it, whereas Woodmans photo is bland and isn't clear to me. Also, Josephsons photo has a joyful aspect to it and I like how he takes advantage of the bright sun and uses shadows. But also he invokes mystery as the hand looks dead. In my photos I will take in the future I will try to include framing and shadows more
